General Information

  • The department of Physics, of P.R. High School society’s Arts, Commerce & Science Sr. College was established in 2004 on non grant basis.
  • The department of Physics was on grant basis from 2010.
  • The department was making progress day by day in all dimensions.
  • We are getting valuable support from the Principal as well as from Management.

Aims & Objectives

  • To provide skilled man power with a strong back ground in various areas of Physics.
  • To train students to acquire the physics knowledge and techniques necessary for various industries.

FACILITIES
  • The department of physics have two labs general physics lab & Optics Lab ( Dark Room )
  • We have quality of lab for the F.Y., S.Y. and T.Y. B.Sc. Students.
  • With the support of computer lab we give power point presentation (PPT) on different topics. The internet connection facility is available for the students.
  • We have departmental library for our students.
  • Sufficient numbers of books are available in the library.
  • Journals like Current Science, Vigan Prasar, and Defense Science Journal etc. are available for student in library
