Greetings from the Department of Defence and Strategic
Studies. |
|
|
Recognizing the paramount importance
of security studies in today’s global scenario, where
security has become an imperative need, cultivating
awareness and understanding of ‘Security’ is
indispensable. The Subject covers all strategic aspects
that can have a bearing on the learning of security
issues in the defence of the country.
The department was established since the college was
founded in the year 1971 and subject was offered as
general subject in B.A.at UG level. In accordance with
the recommendations of NEP 2020 from academic year
2023-24, it is offered as a Minor subject.
To create interest in Defence and Strategic Studies the
department organizes various activities. The Department
of Geography provides quality education & realizes its
responsibilities towards society.
