ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT |

Greetings from the Department of Economics. |
|
|
Department of Economics established
in the year 1971, with the objectives of teaching,
encouraging the business skills among the students and
also to develop their economic behavior, to understand
the Indian and global Economy with all aspects.
The Department offers three years B.A. Economics Degree
(NEP-2020 pattern) with six semesters.
Two permanent faculty members are actively involved in
teaching, learning, research and have shown major share
in publications. They have authored books on curriculum
of B.A. Economics of Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North
Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.
The Department of Economics is active not only in
teaching the syllabus at the Under Graduate level but
also in developing the overall personality of the
individual. For this the Department organizes several
co-curriculum and extra-curricular activities in which
the students are encouraged to participate.
The department has played a key role in organization of
one day Interdisciplinary Conference named, “Beyond
Boundaries: Interdisciplinary Dialogues for a
Sustainable Future (BBIDSF 2025)” in association
with college IQAC and PMUSHA, KBCNMU, Jalgaon.
The department has established links and MOUs with
various organizations; this provides various OJT /
Internship options to the students. |
